Five or six teenage boys ‘punched and kicked’ a cyclist in York.
It happened on Monday (8 November) at about 4.45pm.
The cyclist was attacked on the cycle track that runs between Windmill Lane and The University of York Science Park in Heslington.
The victim suffered minor injuries. Their bicycle was also damaged.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The suspects are described as being a group of five or six white males, aged 15 to 16.
“They were all wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident. One of the males involved is described as having short light blonde hair.
“A second male is described as having a distinctive long nose.
“We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“In particular, we are appealing for information relating to the identity of the offenders.”
