A fight between two groups of men in York city centre left one person in hospital.
The serious assault took place on Coney Street at about 7pm on Saturday (January 29).
Between four and six men in their mid twenties attacked another group of young men.
One 21-year-old man sustained a fractured jaw and later received treatment at Hull hospital.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and identify those involved in the incident.”
They are particularly interested in identifying a man described as
- tall
- aged between 20 and 25
- wearing a black jumper and jeans.
