These are the gruesome injuries suffered by a York man after he was attacked in the city centre.
The last thing Nick Dray remembers is walking past the Grand Hotel some time around 3.30am on Sunday (October 21) when he was set upon by a gang of men.
The 22-year-old from Woodthorpe had left Club Salvation and was heading to get a taxi when he heard the men shout.
Nick said he doesn’t recall a lot but told Minster FM:
-
I was punched and kicked and it’s all a bit of a blur. I came round on the floor and was helped by a girl called Megan who looked after me til an ambulance arrived.
I’ve got a broken cheek bone and lots of bruises. They still don’t know how badly damaged my eye socket is.
He shared these photographs on social media in the hope that they will lead to information that will help police catch the perpetrators.
Combing CCTV
