The Micklegate Run returned to York today and was a brilliantly bonkers as ever!
Sponsored this year by the York BID (Business Improvement District), the Micklegate Run Soapbox Challenge saw 40 teams take to the cobbles to see who can harness gravity most effectively.
This fantastic family event offers enjoy hours of free entertainment, with Minster FM presenter and newly -crowned town crier Ben Fry compering and commenting, along with Laura Castle and David Green.
The weather could not have been better and crowds soaked up the sun, along with a multitude of drinks from local businesses.
