Two people have been arrested and cash and drugs seized following a warrant operation in York.
North Yorkshire Police made the arrests on Saturday, as their work to tackle drug dealing in the city continues.
The man and women were arrested on suspicion of money laundering and drug offences, after executing a warrant in the Clifton area of the city.
It was the latest of several drug warrant operations in the area.
Searches were carried out at the York address and a large amount of Class B drugs and cash were seized by officers.
The pair, who are both in their 40s, were arrested and taken into custody.
Sergeant Stuart Henderson, of York’s Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “People who live and work in Clifton are very clear that drug dealers aren’t welcome there, and I’d like to thank the community for working with us.
“This has enabled us to execute several warrants in the area and detain a number of suspects.
“We’ll be continuing this work and I’d urge anyone who has information that could help us reduce crime to share it with us so we can act on it.”
