Want to know where to look for reputable health advice online? Three York libraries can help.
They are hosting free Using The NHS Online sessions. This is an initiative to help residents who have little or no internet access discover and negotiate useful health websites.
“These fun and informative sessions provide a great introduction to maintaining a healthy lifestyle via the internet,” said Cllr Sonja Crisp, York council’s lead on leisure.
As an added incentive when you sign up for a free session, you will be entered into a prize draw with a chance to win an Amazon Kindle Fire HD tablet.
And if you win the Kindle, the library of your choice will even give you a free lesson on how to use it.
