To celebrate the opening of a new restaurant in York, foodies are able to claim one of 3,000 free pizzas.
Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana, which is coming to High Ousegate, has now announced its opening date – Saturday, 22 June.
And to mark the occasion, they are offering 3,000 Neapolitan pizzas on the house. You can sign up here.
Rudy’s, located in the former Shoezone shop, will be have about 96 covers with an open kitchen and a private courtyard for up to 25 people.
The York pizzeria will add to Rudy’s restaurants in Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester. As well as the pizzas, it offers dips and desserts.
Rudy’s dough is made fresh each day by their in-house pizzaioli, using Caputo ‘00’ flour, and double-fermented for 24 hours.

Staying true to the traditions of Naples, each pizza is cooked for around 60 seconds at over 400°C – resulting in a soft and light pizza with an airy and raised ‘cornicione’ crust.
he new Rudy’s in York will host a well-stocked bar serving iconic Italian spritzes, crisp Italian Poretti lager, and classic stirred-cocktails.
