Five fire crews have been tackling a blaze at York Marina.
Crews from York, Acomb, Huntington, Selby and Tadcaster were called out today (Wednesday) to a fire at one of the Marina buildings near Naburn.
They have put the fire out using breathing apparatus, hose reels and a ladder platform.
It looks to have broken out in the modern block designed for campers and caravanners who stay at the marina.
The fire started in one room and has damaged others, with the rest of the building smokelogged.
Firefighters using the latter platform were able to prevent the fire going through the roof.
The cause is being investigated.
