What happens when three become one? When three shops are combined into one huge store, you get a very large branch of B&M!
The new B&M store at Monks Cross in York is created from the old Poundworld, Hobbycraft and Hays Travel shops.
And with the addition of a garden centre outside, the store has nearly 31,000 sq ft of shopping space.

It opens tomorrow (Wednesday, 18 October) at 8am. It will then open from 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
The store has created 50 new jobs – and it is still recruiting.
For the grand opening, B&M staff were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community.
They chose the team from York Against Cancer to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.
York Against Cancer have raised more than £20 million over the last 30 years to make a difference to the lives of local people affected by cancer.
The store manager from B&M said: “York Against Cancer really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.
“We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people, and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.”
