First look: 21 pix and one video of new attraction Christmas At Museum Gardens
York’s biggest new Christmas attraction of 2017 has opened its gates.
Christmas At Museum Gardens has seen the 10-acre park turned into an illuminated trail, filled with festive colour and music.

There are LED trees, snowflakes on the Yorkshire Museum, glowing spheres and an illuminated tunnel.
An electrifying display of neon by Yorkshire artist Richard Wheater makes a bold statement on the lawn in front of the museum.
A projection onto the ruins of St Mary’s Abbey involves swordfighting mice and Father Christmas. While festive messages are spelled out in glowing letters under the Roman octagonal tower.
The trail takes you to Father Christmas, and there are festive refreshments on sale.
Brought to York by Lunchbox Productions, the attraction is open until January 1.
