A pair of youngsters got stuck when they visited a York play area today (Sunday).
Two 12 year old girls became trapped in the child swings at Birch Park, Huntington.
After they were unable to wriggle free, the fire service was called at 11.31am.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A crew from Huntington responded to reports of two twelve year old females stuck in children’s swings.
“Crews released the females from the swings.”
