Firefighters were called to a fire in a York shop last night (Monday).
A crew from Huntington went to the store on Julia Avenue, Huntington, at 7.03pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The crew attended a fire to an e-bike charging unit that had overheated in a shop.
“Staff removed the bike outside. Crews inspected and gave advice.”
The shop wasn’t named, but there is a branch of Evans Cycles on Julia Avenue.
