This is all that’s left of a shed in Acomb, York.
The shed, on Tedder Road, was gutted by fire this afternoon.
Fire crews from York and Tadcaster were called out at 1.32pm. By that stage the flames had spread to the fence.
They put out the fire and managed to prevent it spreading to the house.
The cause of the fire is said to be ‘spontaneous combustion of materials stored in the shed’.
On Twitter, Station Manager Tony Walker said: “The shed is destroyed but the crews saved the house from serious damage. No injuries.
“Cause is currently under investigation. Do you know what is in your shed?”
