Firefighters were called to an incident on the River Foss in York last night (Sunday).
A York crew responded to reports of a boat that had broken one of its moorings at the Foss Basin at 10.07pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The crew carried out a risk assessment from the side before launching the boat.
“The crew then inspected the vessels and made sure they were secure.
“The boat remained tethered by another mooring and the boat was deemed to be stable.”
