North Yorkshire fire and rescue crews have dealing with an incident in Selby tonight (Thursday).
Station Manager Tony Walker said the local crew were called to the garden of a property in the Staynor area of the town.
Four fire appliances, four breathing apparatus, hose reels and thermal cameras have been used to put the fire out.
Mr Walker said later that the fire was out and an investigation into the cause was taking place.
He added that there was a fire safety message to take away from this incident too.
“Please make sure fire pits log burners and braziers are fully extinguished before leaving them unattended.”
There are no reports of injuries at this stage.
