This was the scene when a farm vehicle erupted in flames on a North Yorkshire road today (Tuesday).
Fire crews from Selby and York were called to the blaze in North Duffield near Selby at 10.51am.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews had four firefighters in breathing apparatus equipment to safely extinguish the fire using three hose reel jets.
“Highways were informed of potential road damage and the incident was left in the hands of a recovery service.”
The road was closed while the incident was ongoing.
