Tadcaster are welcoming visitors back to the high street with a fun-packed family day out – with an artisan market, live music and more.

The fun-filled day will include a huge artisan market featuring 50 Yorkshire traders, children’s magic and entertainment, live music, skatepark, youth cafe opening – and the YorkMix Radio Roadshow!

Breakfast presenters Ben and Laura will be on hand from 10am at St Mary’s Gates on Kirkgate with music from local singers, competitions, games and more.

Organiser David Gluck spoke with YorkMix Radio presenter Victoria Charles to spill the beans on the family-friendly day out.

“It’s the first big event since March of last year and Covid,” David said. “We’ve got so much going on all day long in the town centre.

“We’re really hoping people take advantage of that and discover what a lovely little place Tadcaster is.

“We regularly put on a skatepark – we’ve got a fantastic set up. The kids use our equipment or they can bring their own scooters, bikes or skateboards.
