Summer is in now full swing and the fun continues over at Three Hagges Woodmeadow!
The woodmeadow – which is situated between York and Selby, just south of Escrick by the A19 – has a range of events and activities planned over the summer for children and families.
Find out more about small mammals such as voles and shrews, take a series of outdoor challenges and explore ponds and habitats – and for the younger ones there’s play, art and storytelling.
The events will kick of this Saturday and continue throughout various days in August.

Spend quality time outside
The events have been designed with everyone’s safety at the forefront with strict measures in place.
Dave Raffaelli, chair of the Three Hagges Woodmeadow Trust, explained: “These are great opportunities for children to come together again and to prepare for going back to school in September.
“It will be wonderful for everyone to spend quality time outside, in the fresh air and amidst nature, after the challenging restrictions of the past 16 months.
“We feel it’s more important than ever to appreciate and understand the beauty and magic of nature and these events, with experts on hand, will be both enjoyable and informative.”
Booking is essential, and places can be booked now via the Woodmeadow Trust website.
