Engagement ring worth £6.7K stolen in York – police issue CCTV

Police are appealing for help to identify this man after an engagement ring was stolen from a York jewellers.

A man entered the Goldsmiths jewellers on Spurriergate at around 4.30pm on Saturday, 15 December.

He asked to look at engagement rings before leaving the store with paying for one priced at £6,750.

The man officers would like to speak to is described as being around 6ft in height and speaks with a Merseyside accent.
