There were two crashes on North Yorkshire roads overnight.
At 6.41pm last night (Thursday), emergency services were called to a two-vehicle collision near the A165 at Scarborough.
Both drivers were out when the two fire crews arrived.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews carried out an assessment of one driver using an initial first aid kit before the ambulance arrived.
“Crews made both vehicles safe whilst the drivers were left in the care of paramedics.”
Later, at 11.31pm, 999 crews were called to a crash near Knaresborough.
A vehicle was on its side after it had left the road.
The fire spokesperson said: “Crews stabilised the vehicle to make it safe for the occupants to climb out.
“Both occupants were left in the care of paramedics for precautionary check ups.”
