Emergency services were called to a crash in York early this morning (Thursday).
It happened on Lawrence Street at 12.18am.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Crews from York responded to reports of a vehicle smoking following a road traffic collision.
“No persons were trapped and the vehicles were inspected and confirmed safe. The incident was left with police on scene.”
Earlier, Huntington firefighters were called to an incident on the A1237 at Huntington.
At 5.39pm, they “assisted police with scene safety by making a hybrid electric vehicle safe.”
Again, the incident was left with police.
