Crews were called to a fire at a York shopping centre today (Wednesday).
Huntington, Acomb and York firefighters were called to a store at Clifton Moor at 12.56pm.
A fire had broken out near the tills. It was out when they arrived.
Crews isolated the electrics and gave advice to staff.
Forty minutes later, at 1.26pm, York and Huntington crews were called to a car crash at the Vangarde shopping centre.
The single-vehicle collision happened on Vangarde Way.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The 59-year old female driver was assessed at scene by paramedics and then taken from the scene by family.
“Fire crews made the scene safe.”
