Emergency services were called to a disturbance in York in the early hours today (Wednesday).
It happened on Ouse Bridge at 3.27am.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The ambulance service requested fire attendance for a disturbance on the bridge which they described as homeless people near to the bridge edge.
“On the arrival of firefighters, no action was required. The police had one female in custody.”
