A person was hurt this afternoon after falling near York city walls.
Paramedics were called to the incident at about 3.20pm.
They called in the fire service to help.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said it happened in the Rougier Street area.
A fire service spokesperson said: “Crews from York assisted ambulance personnel with a casualty who had fallen in a difficult area near the museum walls.
“Crews used a triple extension ladder to assist the casualty to safety. No serious injuries sustained.”
