Emergency crews called out twice to river incidents in York
The York Rescue Boat crew were called out twice in 12 hours to people in the River Ouse.
They went to reports of a person in the water near Skeldergate Bridge at 2.45am yesterday (Monday).
That followed a call out at 2.45am on Sunday (19 February).
“For both incidents we were stood down en-route as the incident was brought to a safe conclusion by police officers on scene,” a York Rescue Boat spokesperson said.
