Firefighters were called to an incident in York yesterday (Tuesday).
Crews from York and Acomb were called to reports of a tumble dryer on fire at a home in an undisclosed area at 9.04am.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The fire was out on arrival of the crews and suffered damage to the contents of the dryer.
“Crews removed the tumble dryer from the property and checked the appliance with a thermal imaging camera. The cause was believed to be electrical fault.”
