A man had his pension taken from his pocket as he shopped in York.
Now police have issued CCTV of a man they would like to speak to following the theft at WHSmith on Coney Street on Monday 13 July.
The elderly man had his pension money stolen by a man who approached him and dipped his hand into his pocket.
Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the person in the image as they believe he will have information that will help the investigation.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police.
