Drivers were stopped by police at a checkpoint in York last night (Monday).
Officers were pulling over cars on Lord Mayor’s Walk, close to the entrance to York St John University.
Two drivers were caught for offences during the operation.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Tonight the Guildhall Outer neighbourhood policing team has been out running a vehicle check point as part of Op Buckle aimed at targeting seat belt offences and educating drivers.
“One driver reported for no seatbelt and another issued a producer for no insurance.”
