A driver had to be released from his car after it ended on its roof after a crash today (Monday).
Emergency services were called to the incident on Skipwith Road, between Skipwith and Escrick, just after 3pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Selby and Acomb responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision involving one vehicle on its roof.

“Crews released the casualty trapped inside the car using small tools and crew power.
“The driver was then left in the hands of paramedics who transported the casualty to hospital via road with non life threatening injuries.”
