One driver had to be cut free after a crash on the A1(M) in North Yorkshire early today (Saturday).
Fire crews from Tadcaster, Knaresborough, Acomb and Wetherby attended a two vehicle road traffic collision at 4.06am on the A1(M) southbound near Boston Spa.
They cut free the trapped driver using hydraulic cutting equipment.
The casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance and the incident was left in the hands of police.
