This was the scene soon after two cars had collided, sending one into the side of a York shop.
As we reported earlier, the crash took place on Leeman Road near to Garfield Terrace.
It involved a Mini Cooper and an Audi. It was the Audi that hit the N-Joy Supermarket, knocking a hole into the wall.
The Mini nearly ended up through the doorway of a neighbour’s house. Fortunately, it stopped on the doorstep.
Oliver Glenister took this picture after he heard sirens and saw flashing lights through the window of his home close to the crash scene.
It shows a police officer attending to the Mini Cooper, whose airbags have clearly deployed.

The damage to both the Audi and the shop wall can be seen too.
A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: “We received an emergency call at 8.35pm on Tuesday evening to report a road traffic collision on Garfield Terrace in York.
“Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene and two patients were conveyed to York Hospital.”
According to police their injuries were not life threatening or life changing.
