Police are investigating after a person was bitten by a dog in York.
It happened on Lowther Street on Friday 29 November at around 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
Officers have today issued a description of the dog’s owner.

He is described as:
- a man
- with grey hair and a beard
- wearing a red hat
- green Puffa jacket
- blue jeans
- and brown boots.
The dog was black with golden markings with a red pull collar.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The victim was not seriously injured, however we need to speak with the dog owner.”
