Detached caravan blocks railway line near York

A caravan got stuck on a railway line near York after becoming detached from a car.

The incident happened after 9am this morning at the level crossing at Haxby, close to the Parvin restaurant.

Emergency services closed the road to remove the caravan. They advised motorists to avoid the area while they did so.
