Get ready to feel the force of the comic con.
Darth Vader, along with any number of Star Wars stormtroopers, will be invading Parliament Street again as the Yor-Kon 2019 York Comic Con Toy and Collector Festival returns in July.
Organisers promise it will be the biggest event so far.
The confirmed part of the line-up includes the Sentinel Squad, last seen causing mayhem at York Minster and around the city centre in their amazing Star Wars costumes.
One of the organisers, Paul Dambrauskas, told YorkMix:
-
There will be more traders and live performances from local York St John University Singing Society, performing all your favorite movie soundtracks and TV shows.
Plus there’ll be rides, cosplay, the Game York live gaming arena. Lots of family fun – and and its free!
