Acomb will be buzzing with life this Saturday as ADAM festival returns for its third year, with a day packed with events, activities, and performances for all of the family to enjoy.

Nine locations across Acomb will come alive with the music and merriment of the local community.

You’re welcomed to venture over to any or each of the spots whenever, depending on what you’re interested in seeing. It is also possible to simply navigate from location to location, as there’s bound to be something to watch or do at each spot throughout the day.

Variety show

The diverse musical entertainment will be provided by Can Sing! (The City of York Council Choir), Ladies’ barbershop chorus Main Street Sound, punk cabaret duo Emily Rowan and Simon Bolley, and singer-songwriter Paula Ryan, among many others.

Local schools will also be getting involved, with dramatic, musical and dance performances from Carr Junior School, Westfield Primary School and York High School.

There will be plenty of entertainment for the under fives in the form of story times, drama workshops, a bouncy castle and an array of arts and crafts activities. With the festival being completely free, it is sure to make a highly entertaining family day out.
