A cyclist was hurt in a crash in York this morning (Wednesday).
It happened on Clifton, near the junction with Compton Street.
As we reported earlier, police closed the road for more than two hours following the collision.

A spokesperson for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: “We received an emergency call just before 9am on Wednesday morning (8 May) to report a collision between a car and cyclist on the A19 at Clifton, York.
“An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and one patient was conveyed to York Hospital.”
Traffic was diverted around Clifton Green while the road was closed. It reopened at around 11.45am.
