A boy aged 13 was hurt after being hit by a car while riding his bike in Sherburn in Elmet.
It happened at about 4.30pm on Sunday (31 March) on Moor Lane outside the Swan pub.
The silver car involved in the collision did not stop and travelled towards Moor Lane.

The cyclist sustained minor injuries to his knee and finger but did not require hospital treatment.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has any dashcam footage that could assist our investigation.”
