Crews tackle fire ‘started by youths’ in York

Firefighters were called out to a blaze started deliberately in York last night (Thursday)

A crew from Acomb responded to reports of the fire on Askham Lane at 6.05pm.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “On arrival the fire was already extinguished and no action was required.”
