Firefighters were called to an incident in York city centre last night (Saturday).
A crew from York Fire Station went to Tower Street at 7.07pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from York responded to a rubbish fire underneath a car park on Tower Street in York.
“The crews extinguished the fire using knapsack sprayers.”
