Crews were called to two fires in York last night (Sunday).
The first incident was at 7.54pm on Leeman Road, where firefighters put out a small fire in scrubland.
Then they were called to Bootham Square at 9.20pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire outside of a property.
“This was a small fire involving domestic rubbish, extinguished using one hose reel.”
