One person has been taken to hospital following a crash on the outer ring road this morning.
Two vehicles collided on the A1237 between Wetherby Road and the Askham Bryan roundabout.
The accident was reported at 7.58am.
No one was seriously injured, but one person was taken to hospital as precaution.
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the crash, and motorists were asked to avoid the area.
By 9.30am the road was reopened.
