Updated: Crash in York – road now clear

Police say a crash on a busy York road has now been cleared.

It happened on the York Road to Strensall, just off the A1237 outer ring road.

York police tweeted: “Officers are on scene. There may be delays so it’s advisable to avoid this area for while.”

But at 11.35am they said the road was clear and traffic flowing again.
