A crash closed part of the York outer ring road this morning (Friday).
The incident caused long delays for drivers in the rush hour.
It was on the A1237 between the A59 roundabout and Great North Way at Nether Poppleton.

A trailer had overturned near the roundabout.
The road has now reopened and traffic is returning to normal.
Earlier the AA reported: “Road blocked and long delays due to crash on A1237 Northbound from the A59 to Great North Way.
“Congestion to approaches to the roundabout from Poppleton, Knapton, Rawcliffe and York. Sensors show the roundabout is also partially blocked.”
There were knock-on delays on the A59.
