A crash closed a main York road this morning (Wednesday).
Tadcaster Road was initially closed in both directions near Knavesmire Road, but has since reopened.
A car involved in the collision had overturned and come to rest on its roof.

Police officers and paramedics went to the scene. When the road was closed to motorists, pedestrians and cyclists were still able to get through.
The incident caused disruption to buses, some of which were delayed and diverted. But things are now broadly back to timetable:

More as we get it.
