Traffic is easing after a crash closed a long stretch of the A64 this afternoon (Saturday).
It was on the westbound carriageway between the A169 Norton road and the B1248 Malton road.
Emergency services went to the scene.
At 1.10pm National Highways Yorkshire said traffic had been stopped, adding: “Please be patient we’ll try and get you moving again soon.”
The road is now fully open and traffic is back to normal.
