The three symptom-free Covid testing sites will close on Friday.
The sites at the University of York, York St John University and Foxwood Community Centre will be operating on reduced hours before their closure .
Symptom free testing kits can be collected from the University of York and Foxwood Community Centre until 25 March, and from the York St John University testing site until 27 March.
The national changes to Covid rules, which came into force from February 24, removed the legal requirement for people to self-isolate following a positive test, and ended self-isolation support payments. National funding for practical support and the medicine delivery service is also no longer be available.
Routine contact tracing has come to an end, while from 1 April free lateral flow tests will no longer be available to the public, and will in most cases have to be purchased.
Testing sites for those with Covid symptoms will also close from 30 March.

“Their work has played a significant role in reducing the spread of coronavirus in York and we are immensely grateful for their efforts.”
