Stars from Britain’s top soap swapped the cobbles of Wetherfield for the nightspots of York this weekend.
Coronation Street actors including Jack P Shepherd, who plays David Platt, Mikey North (Gary Windass) and Colson Smith (Craig Tinker) took to the town on Saturday night (26 October).
Delighting fans with smiles and selfies the Corrie stars seemed to be enjoying some R&R in the city during a break from the gruelling shooting schedule for the ITV1 soap.
They had a meal and a sing song in Yemen Heaven, the restaurant on Walmgate:
Pool at the Roses
They later hit the Stone Roses Bar on King Street for a drink and a few games of pool.
Someone who was in the bar told YorkMix:
They were a great group. Jack Shepherd was very quiet but the rest were really up for meeting fans and taking photos.
In the Stone Roses Bar they blocked off the pool room to give them a bit of space.
They even played the famous Coronation Street theme music in the Stone Roses Bar to make them feel at home!
No sign of that party animal Ken Barlow though…
