Comedian Paul Chowdhry is heading to York this week with his brand new stand up show.
After barely surviving the pandemic, the star of Taskmaster is bringing two years of pent-up material to the city with Paul Chowdhry: Family-Friendly Comedian (No Children).
Following his global smash hit ‘Live Innit’, this new show will tackle the UK’s handling of the pandemic, why the rules of six only worked for white people, fame, England football fans and Tom Cruise landing his helicopter in someone’s garden.
Paul Chowdhry will be at Grand Opera House York on Thursday 18 November 2021.
Paul has made appearances on shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats, Comedy World Cup, Taskmaster and Live at the Apollo.
In 2003 he was the first British act to perform at the Caribbean Comedy Festival in Trinidad, and was the first British-Asian stand-up to sell out London’s Wembley Arena.
Since 2021 Paul has been hosting the podcast The Paul Chowdhry PudCast in which he interviews comedians, with guests including James Acaster, Shappi Khorsandi and Ed Gamble.
In what is sure to be a night of laughter – don’t miss it!
Tickets start from £29.40 and are available via the Grand Opera House website.
