Collision partially closes main York road

A collision is causing traffic problems in rush hour this morning (Friday).

The accident is on the A19 in York. It has partially blocked the road and is causing delays from Heslington Lane to the B1222 Naburn Lane.

The First York number 7 service is being delayed by 15 minutes.

There are also problems close by. One lane is closed due to emergency repairs on the A64 Westbound from the A19 (Fulford Interchange, Fulford) to A1036 Tadcaster Road (Copmanthorpe).

This is also causing delays.
