A classic car was gutted by fire this afternoon (Friday).
The Morgan roadster caught fire at Sherburn in Elmet.
Firefighters from Tadcaster were called to the incident at 12.45pm.
They used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and small tools to extinguish the fire.
The driver was on his way to a car meet at Burn Hall Hotel at Huby north of York when it happened.
Group Manager Bob Hoskins, who took the photo, said: “Fortunately nobody was hurt in this incident.”
